my passion for biology began with my 9th grade biology teacher. The way we’d explore a plethora of its fields and understand why things are the way they are, in his lectures, truly inspired me. Since then i’ve attended summer school at columbia, written research papers and tutored other students, to broaden my understanding of the subject. From observing microscope slides in lab coats to learning about genetics and evolution, the subject has never failed to fascinate me.
I believe that the knowledge biology has to offer should be shared to a much larger audience, and through this blog we hope to do just that. I believe that advanced scientific research is yet another example of the power of human intelligence and teamwork, which deserves recognition not just by other academic scholars, but also by teenagers and the general public.

Hi! I’m Rahhya Ostwal, My passion for biology truly blossomed during ninth grade when I was doing the igcse program, thanks to an exceptional teacher whose excitement for the subject was contagious. His enthusiasm was infectious, sparking a curiosity and eagerness to explore biology in ways I hadn’t imagined before. One pivotal moment that solidified my love for the subject was a dissection practical on the heart and lungs of a goat.
As we carefully explored the intricacies of these vital organs, everything about biology suddenly came into focus. The complexity of the human body, the precision with which each system works, and the interconnectedness of life itself became incredibly clear. What had once seemed like a collection of facts and concepts transformed into a deeply fascinating and meaningful exploration of life.

Biology has always been a passion of mine, allowing me to understand the science behind the things we encounter every day. As the study of life, biology is a constantly evolving field. While interest in artificial intelligence has skyrocketed, with conversations around AI making certain jobs obsolete, biology remains a discipline filled with endless opportunities.
This blog motivates me to go beyond the confines of my curriculum, diving deeper into the subject and sharing my findings and research with others. It serves as a platform to connect with people of all ages, keeping them informed about the latest developments in biology. Through this blog, I aim not only to create a resource for those already passionate about science but also to spark interest in those who may not yet appreciate it. I hope this blog encourages readers to become as engaged and interested in biology as I am.
